Description:Our client is currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer, Power Lead – ADP

We’re looking for a power system lead to help us design, manufacture, and test our next generation solar power systems.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

Design, develop, and trade all power system components

You willlead subsystem and hardware component requirements development, develop test plans and perform requirements verification.

Manage supplier interfaces and deliver acquisitions strategies for components

Perform failure mode and worst-case analysis assessments

Maintain vehicle-level power system performance metrics including power and energy consumption budgets, mass budgets, and vehicle power-on sequencing and safing for all phases of flight

Design and analyze electrical systems for EMI/EMC compliance

Create and maintain system diagrams for power distribution, system grounding, and bonding.

Create models and simulation of the EPS to evaluate use cases and conditions.

Lead the development of test plans and execution of power subsystem Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) activities



B.S. in Aerospace, Software. Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related technical subject area

Ability towork collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic work environment

Understanding of the principles, concepts, and methods of systems engineering such as concept development, requirement definition, design solution definition, implementation, integration, verification and validation, qualification, commissioning, and operations

Full knowledge of analog, digital and mixed signal circuit analysis, simulation, design, test and troubleshooting.

Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills

Ability toearn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

Must bea U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Desired:

Successful candidates typically have 8 to 12 years of relevant experience

M.S. in Aerospace, Software. Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related technical subject area

Experience withsoftware tools such as DOORS Next Generation, Cameo, MATLAB/Simulink, Confluence, JIRA, Git, Creo, and Windchill
