SEN Teacher (8878A)

An inspirational and enthusiastic SEN Teacher is required to work with students with a range of special needs including Autism and communication difficulties. This is a temporary to permanent position to start in January 2021.

• The school is a specialist Independent SEN school in Sheffield
• They cater for children with a specific learning difficulty, social and communication difficulties and their associated behavioural difficulties
• The successful candidate will be required to work across the school’s 7-19 age group.
• You will be well supported by the SLT team and an experienced team of support staff.

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

• QTS or QTLS.
• Previous experience working in an SEN School would be advantageous, but not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
• You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
