* The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Liberty Utilities clients and customers accessing the company by telephone, email and/or coming into Liberty Utilities locations. The CSR provides the first point of customer contact and must represent the company and our customer service philosophy with the utmost integrity. The CSR will ensure all clients are greeted in a courteous and professional manner and will assist the customer according to company policies.
Accountabilities Customer Service Window – provides general information and accepts customer payments
Assist customers at the counter with new service, hydrant meters and directions, etc
Ensures cash drawer and receipts balance daily
Answers incoming calls and emails, provides accurate information in a courteous and professional manner and forwards call to appropriate destination as required
Back up with various customer service duties as necessary
Process mail returns (not delivered)
Process customer applications for service openings and closings
Scan CSR documents into CIS
Create service orders for Customer follow-up
Process mail payments
Update InfoSend address changes
Other administrative duties as required
Perform duties in compliance with laws, regulations, company policies and procedures. Adhere to Liberty Utilities security policies. Provide accurate information regarding Liberty Utilities services and guidelines
Educationand Experience Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification
Experience in Customer Service is desirable
Requires excellent telephone etiquette, verbal communications and customer relation skills
Must possess organizational and problem solving skills including an aptitude for math
Computer experience is also required together with word processing knowledge
Must havea valid California driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
Bilingual skills are highly desired
