Energy Transition (ET) Lead
We’re seeking an Energy Transition (ET) Lead to join our team in Houston to develop the ET strategy for the North Americas region and help to identify new opportunities to grow a sustainable ET business. Reporting to regional VP, this role will be responsible for developing the regional ET strategy and leading the business development activities.
You willensure the development of sustainable relationships with new and existing clients.
You willrepresent and defend our clients interests and image at external events. You’ll also be working with the broader company Energies ET communities to ensure alignment and coordination.
In addition, the ET lead will be the study manager or sponsor on selected studies defined as “ET projects” and act as responsible for study budget, profitability, schedule and client satisfaction. You’ll be the key focal points for all tenders submitted by our Costumers Americas with significant and/or strategic ET scope.
Based in the Houston, you will be joining a well-respected dynamic team with a strong reputation for excellence. The role also presents a great opportunity to undertake work for the local office and for other offices internationally, either for external clients or internal.
8 to 15 years of experience
Previous experience with downstream process subjects (carbon capture, liquefaction, green & blue H2, ammonia, biofuels, sustainable chemistry),
Previous experience with sustainability, environmental and circular economy topics
Knowledge of US energy transition market and carbon management policies
Process engineer or chemical engineer preferred
Previous consulting experience preferred
Previous experience in Carbon Credit trading, green funding sources will be a plus.
Sound knowledge of the market, clients and technologies so as to maximize the commercial impact and added value for the client

The role is a full-time staff based in Houston, but travel regionally may be necessary. Work from other US locations can be considered for the right candidate. The role will involve working for short periods in client offices when required.
