ENGIE are recruiting for an Energy Services Manager to be based within the Urban Energy Team in Kings Yard, London. This is a permanent, full time role, working 40 hours a week. On offer is a competitive salary and company benefits package.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and build of complex energy models which integrate with the financial planning and budgeting process. Comparing energy purchase, use and consumption to deliver maximum efficiency and best value.

What is your Day to Day:

Ongoing analysis and modelling of the energy schemes trends and performance, diagnosing and recommendations for rectification to ensure that energy is delivered consistently and efficiently to meet contractual requirements

Ensure accurate metering and monitoring of energy scheme to record customer consumption and billing

Report on energy efficiency and financial performance of energy sales across a range of sites.

Provide energy information to operations teams to facilitate improvements

Identify adverse trends and identify opportunities for improvements

Central in the day to day energy activities of the business supporting operations, finance, business development and engineering. Support the operational delivery teams in understanding the energy profitability; to validate (M&V) the impact of energy improvement measures; and to work with the operational teams and engineering teams on profit or resilience improvements.

Be the ‘go to’ expert on energy sale business development opportunities and providing support for energy modelling/forecasting and legislative issues.

Provide the governance on the integrity of assumptions for such proposals and highlight appropriate risks.

About you:

Educated to Degree level in Engineering or equivalent.

Understanding the financial, commercial and compliance elements of the successful operation of large-scale district heating and energy schemes

Managing and developing an experienced team in their delivery of service excellence

Demonstrable ability to motivate and manage a team

Demonstrable experience in client and commercial contract management

Excellent Financial Understanding of Budgets, Operating Costs, Gross Margins etc. with very strong Excel and IT skills
