Dining Attendant, Food Court Job in Cherokee, NC at Cherokee, NC
The primary function of the Dining Attendant will be to ensure all assigned areas are kept orderly and clean.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish and endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values
Clear used items from tables
Wipe table tops and chairs, using damp cloth
Mop and sweep floors
Stocking products as needed
Ensure that stock delivered from warehouse is put away in proper storage areas in a timely manner
Maintain work area is in a safe condition, taking care of spills and other hazards as necessary
Maintain a neat and sanitary appearance of assigned work
Inform Supervisor /Manager of any situations that arise or need immediate attention
Interact pleasantly with guests when moving through the dining room
Know the hours/days of operation
Acknowledge and respond to customers immediately demonstrating top box customer service standards
Build relationships with customers demonstrating excellent service skills
Accommodate the needs and requests of any guest
Provide the highest quality of service to customers and associates at all times
Complete a task, even if overtime is involved
Receive and examine inventory and supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet established standards and specifications
Properly maintain and store company inventory including utensils, cookware and machinery
Protect all company assets in regard to waste, breakage, and theft
Share equipment with co-workers
Abide by appearance standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company/department policies/procedures in an ethical manner
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
Willing to learn and be adaptable
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests
Excellent customer service skills
Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes
Team player
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, push and pull items
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Must be able to handle high stress in the work environment and turn stress into high energy
Must be able to be on feet for 8 hour shift
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including second hand smoke
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
