We are now hiring a number of Customer Service Advisors, to be based at our Customer Service Centre in Anstone, near Sheffield. This is in response to strong sales demand despite the challenging climate.
We are looking for engaging, positive and energetic people who are excited at the prospect of contributing to an evolving Customer Service Centre of Excellence.
In our fast-paced environment, the Customer Service Advisor will be primary point of contact for our customers, whose sectors include Builders Merchants, Housing Developers and other end users of our range of products. You will deliver a World Class Customer experience in a professional and friendly manner. You will provide information and support to our customers regarding price, availability, products, orders and delivery status.
You will quickly and accurately convert the customer’s orders onto our systems to exacting customer requirements, liaising with our commercial, production and logistics teams as required. You will manage the full customer journey, including capturing customer complaints and identifying possible areas for business improvement. You will seek to develop your knowledge of our products and processes, allowing you to deal with customer enquiries confidently and develop trust-based customer relationships.
You will be able to demonstrate your positivity, energy and passion for this role. Customer Service is your priority, and you will be driven to succeed as part of a high-performing team. You will be bold and brave when facing difficult situations, and always seek to find better ways to do things. You will seek out opportunities to grow and develop.
You are a strong listener, show empathy to customers, and you really care about ensuring customer-focussed outcomes.
This is a professional role and working environment, though you will also be warm, approachable, have a good sense of fun.
You are likely to be in a similar customer facing role at the moment, or have the demonstrable aptitude to move into one. You will be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing and able to show your administrative skills, particularly using IT systems including business ERP. It may be that you are currently in a Customer Service role in manufacturing or a similar construction based industry.
