What will you do day to day?

You willbe selling innovative energy solutions to blue chip, large corporate and public sector markets across the UK and you will be responsible for:

* Networking across new business channels and internal stakeholders to drive pipeline and growth opportunities

* Building a robust, resilient and validated pipeline of sales opportunities and converting them into regular order-book

* Implementing and contributing to targeted sales growth initiatives and marketing campaigns

* Undertaking technical and commercial evaluations of sales opportunities

* Leading bids, developing and presenting technical / commercial proposals to internal and customer stakeholders

* Building commercial business-cases that align to our customer’s procurement / ROI criteria and thresholds

* Compliance with all internal commercial / technical governance standards and authorisation processes

* Meeting / exceeding allocated sales targets and criteria on a continuous basis (typically: monthly, quarterly, annually)

* Accurate, consistent and timely reporting via the company’s Sales Force CRM platform from opportunity creation to close

Who will you work with?

Reporting to the Sales Director, Energy Core, you will play a pivotal role in the identification, development and execution of energy solutions opportunities, including; energy optimisation, connected workplace, smart building, EPC/CPC contracts, BEMS projects, upgrades and retrofits and in doing so you will have regular engagement with:

* Mitie customers and their representatives (e.g. technical consultants, main contractors)

* Internal operational stakeholders, including Strategic Account Managers and Technical Account Managers

* Plan Zero Central Leadership Team and Energy Core sales management

* Supply-chain partners and original equipment manufacturers in developing technical / commercial proposals
