Job description

The basics:

Create financial transactions and generate reports with high attention to detail
Process payroll using the company payroll software
Independently manage client files with professionalism
Thrive for growth and teamwork

What you will bring to the table:

-Organized and well managed bookkeeping transactions

-Problem solving client file discrepancies

-Process multiple payroll files with complete payroll principles knowledge

-Your ideas to help with the continued growth of our bookkeeping model

Must haves:

-Pleasant demeanour and personable

-High quality English (speech, reading and writing)

-Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook and Excel)

-Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and SAGE software

-Ability to manage a high-volume workload

-Adapt well to a fast-changing environment

-Ability to work virtually from home on a full-time basis

-A minimum of 2 years experience in payroll processing

-A minimum of 3 years experience in bookkeeping (or equivalent education)

-Knowledge of report production requirements for accounting review

-Knowledge and experience with proper third-party data reconciliations

Bonus attributes:

-Fluently bilingual in English and French

-Knowledge of Payment Evolution software

-Bookkeeping certification or willingness to obtain said certification

-Payroll administration certification or willingness to obtain said certification

-Working knowledge of other bookkeeping software
